Grade 9 Academics

Grade 9 is a year full of new experiences, adventures and exciting learning opportunities.

There are many activities to choose from to suit every student. From a long list of co-curriculars and volunteer opportunities in the community to create or take part in, to organizing special events for your grade level, there is something for everyone both inside and outside of academics. Our experienced Middle Years Programme educators have created an enriching and engaging MYP experience that helps you prepare yourself for the years ahead.

Other exciting learning opportunities in Grade 9 include two interdisciplinary week-long units of study, including one at Branksome Hall Asia in South Korea! As a Grade 9 student, you also get to choose your Arts elective.

Please take the time to review all of the course descriptions and choose the Arts course which excites you or has you curious. Our Admissions Team is eager to work with you, should you have any questions.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
