The Branksome Hall Difference

Branksome Hall’s dynamic community members have the conviction to lead change and are passionate about contributing to the life of the school.

  • We are driven by our four core values: Sense of Community, Inclusiveness, Creativity and Making a Difference.

  • We ensure that diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) permeate our culture, guide our actions and are reflected in our lived experiences.

  • The school is globally connected, with 50 Boarders from over 18 countries and a sister school in South Korea.

  • Our curriculum is rooted in the best practices of the IB liberal arts framework and social-emotional learning.

  • We are leaders in innovation, STEM and the arts. We believe innovation is a mindset—a way of engaging with the world.

  • Branksome Hall is inspired by its location in midtown Toronto, with incredible arts and culture, sports and dining just steps away.

The Centre for Strategic Leadership

The Centre for Strategic Leadership (CSL) at Branksome Hall was founded on the belief that a school is the sum total of the talent of its people and that leadership skills can be intentionally developed. The first centre of its kind at a JK-Grade 12 school in Canada, the CSL provides Branksome employees with a range of leadership programs to assist them in identifying their path to personal and professional leadership development. Our Commitments

List of 3 items.

  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

At Branksome Hall, we are determined to ensure diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) permeate our culture, guide our actions and are reflected in our lived experiences. Far from an isolated priority, our commitment to DEI is integral to our purpose as a community. In particular, our grounding in social-emotional learning provides a helpful framework for exploring equity issues and empowering each of us to take action and challenge biases, racism, classism, sexism, heterosexism and other forms of oppression.
  • Equal Employment Opportunities

Branksome Hall is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the position. Branksome is strongly committed to diversity, equity and inclusion within its community and welcomes applications from racialized persons/persons of colour, Indigenous/Aboriginal People of North America, persons with (dis)abilities, LGBTQ2S+ persons, and others who may contribute to the further diversification of ideas and champion diversity in its broadest sense. Accommodations are available upon request for candidates engaging in all parts of the recruitment and selection process.
  • Accessibility

Branksome Hall is committed to providing services in a manner that, as much as reasonably possible, respects the dignity, independence, integration and equality of opportunity of all individuals, including those with disabilities. Learn more.
LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
