This year, Branksome Hall was the proud recipient of a Silver Circle of Excellence Award from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in the category of Digital Communications: Websites. With more than 2,800 entries submitted from some of the top educational institutions around the world, the award is especially noteworthy.
Some of the other schools recognized in the same category include University of Pennsylvania, Boston College, Kenyon College, Emmanuel College, Indiana University and the University of Colorado.
One judge described Branksome Hall’s website in this way: “Of all the sites we’ve seen, this is the one I shared with other people to illustrate the WOW factor. The black-and-white homepage photography, silhouettes, and well-crafted profiles that introduce students, and ease of navigation make this site a winner.”
Branksome Hall launched its new website in September 2018. While the primary aim is for its polished, urban and eye-catching look to connect with prospective parents and students, the website also engages with current families, students, alumnae and employees through an event calendar, featured news, social media mash-up page and student profiles that reflect the diversity of Branksome Hall’s student body.
The Circle of Excellence, an international awards program, honors outstanding work in advancement services, alumni relations, communications, fundraising and marketing at colleges, universities, independent schools and affiliated non-profits.
Made up of several of CASE's long-time recognition programs, the Circle of Excellence awards program, in its present configuration, was introduced in 1994. It is CASE's largest and most popular awards program.
