University of Chicago and Carnegie Mellon Information Morning

Athletics and Wellness Centre
Grades 9-12 parents and students are invited to join us for a coffee morning with two U.S. university academic powerhouses on Saturday, October 28, from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. in the Branksome Hall Athletics and Wellness Centre Dining Hall.

Spend your morning having coffee with Zach Evans, Director of Undergraduate Admissions, University of Chicago and Gregory Edleman, Director of Undergraduate Admission, Carnegie Mellon University.

This morning will give you an opportunity to learn about the various programs these universities offer, the life of an undergraduate student on both campuses, and how each university approaches the admissions process. Additionally, you will learn how these institutions differ when it comes to all of these aspects.

If you wish to join us for this special event for Branksome Hall students and parents from Grades 9–12, please register here by October 23.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.*

*The Land Acknowledgement may evolve as we honour our commitment to Truth and Reconciliation in partnership with Indigenous communities.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
