JS: Session 2: Parent Education Sessions: Code of Conduct, Response to Behaviour and Progressive Discipline

We are pleased to invite you to one of three sessions where the Junior School Leadership Team will outline the enhancements to our Code of Conduct, Response to Behaviour and Progressive Discipline Approach. We all want students to demonstrate acceptable and appropriate behaviour when at school, while also acknowledging that children make mistakes, which require a progressive discipline approach that combines education and consequences to shift behaviour to what is expected of them.

Land Acknowledgement

We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.
