Principal Karen Jurjevich to Retire June 2024
After nearly 25 years of passionate, visionary and innovative leadership, Karen Jurjevich has informed the Board of Governors that she will be stepping away from her role as Principal in June 2024. Until that time, and while we conduct a comprehensive search for her successor, she will remain fully engaged in the leadership of the school. Principal Jurjevich has had a truly transformative impact on Branksome, and we look forward to the many opportunities for community-wide tributes and celebrations of her legacy before 2024. Land Acknowledgement
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.
