Giving Opportunities

Make Way for our students' future and prepare them for a world of disruption and unprecedented change. Explore the three funding pillars of the $30-million Make Way Campaign and the many ways you can support the most ambitious fundraising campaign in Branksome’s history.

Innovation Centre and Studio Theatre (iCAST) ($25 million): Help close the gender divide in the workplaces of tomorrow and instill the sought-after innovator’s mindset in our students. iCAST is a 34,458 square-foot facility where arts and STEM flourish and will collide in unexpected ways. iCAST is a first-of-its-kind space for a JK-Grade 12 institution in Canada. The skills it will nurture will help differentiate Branksome students to both universities and employers.

Financial Assistance ($3 million): Amplify our commitment to open our doors to diverse and promising students, regardless of their financial situation, enriching the learning environment for all with a range of perspectives and talents.

Opportunity Fund ($2 million): Enrich our learning environment and set our students apart. This fund enables nimble response to opportunities identified by faculty and staff for the benefit of our students, including curricular and co-curricular enhancements.

Whether it’s a contribution to our Annual Fund or a transformational gift that drives extraordinary change, our donors can be involved at any level, directing their contribution towards a priority that is personally meaningful.

Make Way: Annual Fund

Our Annual Fund is the foundational way we partner with parents, alums, parents and faculty to provide the yearly support that takes Branksome from great to exceptional.

Make way for the future! This year, all gifts to the Annual Fund will support the most ambitious fundraising effort in school history, the Make Way campaign. For this very special year, you designate your gift to one of our three campaign pillars—iCAST, Financial Assistance or the Opportunity Fund.

  • Name a Make Way Stepping Stone

Every great journey begins with the first step. Collectively, our Make Way Stepping Stones will symbolize the path we are paving together, so our students can go forth and blaze their own trails. The Stepping Stones will be a prominent architectural feature in iCAST’s main lobby, reimagining the traditional “donor wall” as an art installation that honours our community of generous iCAST builders. Choose your stone and step into a beautiful legacy that will commemorate your family’s connection with our school.

  • Transformational Gifts

Branksome is so grateful to our many community members who choose to make transformational gifts to the Make Way campaign. Typically ranging in size from $25,000 to seven figures, gifts of this magnitude can be paid over time, typically between three to five years. Transformational gifts also provide tax advantages. Depending on the level, donors receive additional personalized recognition, including an opportunity to name a space within iCAST, leaving a permanent and meaningful legacy at Branksome.

  • The 10 Elm Society: Legacy Giving

A gift in your will, trust or life insurance is one of the easiest, most effective and flexible ways you can support Branksome Hall for generations to come. The benefits? Modify your gift at any time, take advantage of tax savings and choose to give a fixed amount or percentage of your estate, while directing your gift to a Branksome program or initiative that is close to your heart.

LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.

Setting the new standard for girls' education everywhere takes collective action. From all of us.
