“Branksome Hall Asia has demonstrated well planned initiatives that have excellent intentions and truly impressive development which, as a result, are making a real impact for students and others,” said the 11-member judging panel. Branksome Hall Asia beat out 263 eligible nominations from international schools in 62 countries.
 
Hosted by ISC Research, the 12 award categories recognized international schools for efforts supporting inclusion, innovation and digital technology in learning.
 
The two exceptional Branksome Hall nominations were in the categories of community initiative and strategic leadership initiative. The community initiative, created by a former student, is a disaster research project for the victims of the Nepal earthquake. They designed and produced a security necklace, with a built-in torch, tracker, and alarm, for young women in vulnerable circumstances in Nepal. The strategic initiative is a framework to create meaningful online learning, independent of crisis-response scenarios. Read more here.
