My name is Kelly Longmore and I am the Director of Boarding. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and your families.

In the 10 years that I’ve worked at Branksome Hall, I've had a number of different roles, including Assistant Director of Residence, Interim Director of Residence, ESL and International Languages Coordinator, and English teacher.
As you get to know me, you will likely hear me talk about my family. My husband and I have a six-year-old son and three pets (one cat and two dogs). You will also notice that I love to laugh. I am looking forward to learning more about each of you. I’m interested in what you like to do in your free time, what music you like to listen to, what you like to binge watch on Netflix, and your favourite snacks. In case you are wondering: I like to spend time on my yoga mat, read, watch movies with strong female characters and snack on popcorn!
This handbook will share with you some of the changes for this year. Last year was a year like no other. Some things will look different for those who are returning, and for those of you who are new, this handbook will help you to know what to expect. We had to adjust the way that we interact, think and operate as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Two things that have not changed are the supportive environment of Branksome Hall Boarding and our commitment to fostering the growth of each student as unique individuals.
I invite you to read over this handbook, as it will help to guide us through this year. Some things might change as the year progresses based on the information we have from Toronto Public Health and the Ministry of Education, but we are ready to adapt and be flexible. I’m looking forward to a great year.
