  • A Message from the Principal

A warm welcome to the 2022-23 school year at Branksome Hall!

The launch of a new academic year always brings with it an inspiring sense of anticipation – a truly joyous experience that marks every school year and fuels the journey ahead. If you are a new Branksome family, you’ve likely been looking forward to the start of the school year for some time. We are delighted to welcome you to our community.

Exciting days lie ahead for our new and returning students and parents as you explore all we have to offer. The entire Branksome community is looking forward to helping you navigate your first few days and weeks on campus, and we welcome the opportunity to answer any questions you may have. This handbook is a resource I know both new and returning families will find helpful. Here, you will learn about our day-to-day routines, important dates, school procedures and expectations, as well as information on how you’ll receive news and updates throughout the year.

Please take the time to review this information carefully as some of it may be new or different for this year. Feel free to reach out to our dedicated teachers and administrators—or to me directly—at any time with questions and feedback that may arise. Our school team is here to help, and our doors (and email inboxes!) are always open.

Land Acknowledgement
We wish to acknowledge this land on which Branksome operates. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional land of the Huron-Wendat, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work and go to school on this land.
