Interview
Once your daughter’s application is submitted, you will have the opportunity to book her virtual interview and pay the application fee through our online booking system. A member of our Admissions team will first interview your daughter, then parents will be invited in for the family interview portion.
Preparing for your Interview
Local students applying for Grade 7 are asked to prepare a portfolio of graded school work and personal accomplishments to present during the interview. Students can create a virtual portfolio to share in advance or during the virtual interview, or they may simply share articles during the virtual interview by holding items to the camera and describing for the interviewer. We want the portfolio to be an “All About Me” sharing of information that allows the interviewer to learn more about each student.
Grade 7 Portfolio Share include:
- Portfolio Share Components
- A teacher-marked Writing sample from Grade 6 – copy to be kept on file
- A teacher-marked Mathematics test from Grade 6 – copy to be kept on file
- A sample piece from a school project from current or past year
- Any awards or certificates (Academic, Athletic, Arts, leadership, community service)
- Any photos that highlight personal accomplishments
Grade 8
Please note that Grade 8 is not an entry year and spaces are attrition dependent. We do not conduct a full admissions process until we have confirmed openings. Applications are encouraged in the event spaces become available. Should we move forward with the application, an Admissions member will be in contact to schedule your daughter’s interview.
