Interview
Once your application is submitted and all required documents are uploaded, a member of our Admissions team will reach out to schedule the interview over Zoom or other apps such as Skype, WeChat or FaceTime.
All report cards/transcripts must be submitted before the Admissions Office will schedule the interview.
Teacher Recommendation Forms
All boarding applicants must have their teachers complete and submit both a
Math Teacher and
English Teacher recommendation form.
Assessment:
Grade 7-8 Boarding applicants are required to participate in a
Portfolio Share during the interview. Applicants can create a virtual portfolio to share in advance or during the virtual interview, or they may simply share articles during the virtual interview by holding items to the camera and describing for the interviewer. We want the portfolio to be an “All About Me” sharing of information that allows the interviewer to learn more about each student.
We require all
Grade 9-11 Boarding applicants to either write our Branksome Hall Math and English Entrance Tests
or submit their results of the SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test). For more information on writing the SSAT, please visit the
SSAT website. Students interested in the Branksome Hall Entrance Tests will complete the English portion during their interview and a separate date will be shared for the Math Test.
