The Branksome Hall Foundation & Endowments
Branksome Hall strives to be a judicious steward of all its resources, to ensure the long-term fiscal soundness of the school. The Branksome Hall Foundation, established in 2005, has as its priority the long-term preservation and stewardship of the school’s endowment assets.
An independent Board of Trustees for The Branksome Hall Foundation operates under the leadership of Anthony R. Graham, a former Branksome Hall Board of Governors Chair. The Foundation Board includes the following longstanding school leaders:
Mary Pat JONES Armstrong’63
Carol McLEAN Gray’72
Mary LESSLIE Hallward’74
Joyce WALKER McKeough’56
Timothy Price
Daniel Sullivan
The Branksome Hall Foundation currently holds an endowment of approximately $13 million, which will support the school in perpetuity. An annual disbursement to the school protects the principal, with additional earnings reinvested as a growth strategy. Endowment income is used to support Student Financial Aid, capital improvements, upkeep of facilities, curriculum and program enhancement, and school awards.
Many of our friends have established named, endowed funds in support of the school. A named endowment stands as a lasting tribute to friends or family, while providing essential support to our students. A named, endowed fund may be established through a gift of $50,000 or more to the Foundation, which may be pledged in installments over a period of up to five years.
