Together We Can
Being part of a globally minded girls’ school involves action and service. All students in the Junior School are encouraged to take action from their learning.
The Action Committee is led by Grade 6 students, who are mentored by their teacher sponsors. Together, they explore how they can take action for themselves and their school; how they can take action for their community; and how they can take action for their world.
Younger students are mentored by Grade 6 students when they wish to pursue action that involves the school community.
Some of the action and service projects include:
- Halloween for Hunger Food Drive
- Branksome Idol: A Gleeful for Gilda’s Club Concert
- Students giving skits at assembly about lunch room procedures
- Collecting school supplies for our sister school in South Africa
- Creating holiday hampers for our sister school in Toronto
