 The Chandaria Research Centre

Presenting the Chandaria Research Centre

We never stop understanding how girls learn

The Chandaria Research Centre (CRC) will initiate and develop research that explores and advances the future of education and will create a hub of innovation, collaboration and creativity at Branksome Hall.

The CRC vision is broad in scope and sharply in focus: to produce and partner in meaningful research that explores and advances the future of girls' education, and to make an impact through its practical application.

Like our school, the CRC's aim is to further develop our understanding of girls' learning, both in the classroom and in their community. The emphasis of the research conducted will be to discover the very best educational excellence in girls' learning, wellness and global engagement, and to blend and integrate these spheres into a holistic educational experience.

The CRC will engage in primary and action research and will collaborate with other schools and organizations that complement and advance the knowledge we seek.

The Chandaria Research Centre has been set up in honour of Raj and Minu Chandaria. Raj has served as Chair of the Branksome Hall Board of Governors, where his leadership and foresight have been instrumental in formulating the school's strategy.
