Branksome Hall graduates are welcomed by stellar universities in North America and abroad, most with scholarships.
In 2011, 86 per cent of our qualified university applicants were offered entrance scholarships.
This success is due, in large part, to our dedicated faculty, committed learners and our IB curriculum. The IB Diploma Program is an enriched liberal arts program that is viewed as the gold standard by universities worldwide.
Branksome's goal for each graduate is that she be accepted into her university and program of first choice, and that she succeed and thrive in university. Guidance counsellors in our Senior and Middle School work closely with each student and family in their educational planning, beginning in Grade 7 and continuing through to graduation.
More than 2,200 universities world-wide recognize the IB as a valued secondary-school credential. Increasingly, the best higher-education institutions seek out and reward IB graduates. In the U.S. and Canada, IB Diploma holders are often awarded university-level credits, in some cases equivalent to one full year.
