We’re celebrating a historic occasion at Branksome Hall: today we signed an agreement with Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC) to establish an overseas campus on Jeju Island, South Korea. Branksome Hall Asia is slated to open in September 2012.

There’s more great news from Branksome’s debating program as two of our girls, Elizabeth Stratton and Anisah Mahomed, finished fourth out of 54 competitors and were the top-ranked Ontario team at the Canadian Senior National Debating Championship held at Glenlyon-Norfolk School in Victoria, B.C.

Sixteen-year-old Zeenia Framroze, of Canada, won top honours last week at the 2010 World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championship in Lithuania, where she competed with fellow Branksome Hall teammate Elizabeth Stratton against 100 of the best debaters and public speakers from 14 countries.
