We’ve adopted an athlete
The Adopt-an-Athlete program is a project supported by the Canadian Olympic Committee, with the overarching goal of promoting the Olympic Movement in Canada through cultural and education activities. It is a grassroots program, designed to teach students the value of making a community effort to raise funds for athletes’ training programs. Our “adopted” athlete, in turn, visits our school to inspire students to strive for excellence in all aspects of their lives and to understand the value of leadership.

The month of December has been full of activity in the Fitness Centre and our gyms. The winter Athletics season is well underway for badminton, volleyball, hockey and swimming and our ski team is looking forward its first meet in the early new year.
