International & Residence Students

As an IB World School, Branksome offers an educational experience that builds life-long learning skills, values a balanced lifestyle and an international perspective.  Students from across Toronto and around the world seek admission annually to our program. Branksome residence students enjoy many advantages:

A superior academic experience

Residence and international students graduate with both the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and the IB Diploma. Branksome Hall students are able to develop good study and social skills as they prepare for top universities in Canada, the US, Europe and around the world.

Residence Students

They have the opportunity to enhance their English language skills while they learn in a superior academic environment. Through our programs, students learn to manage their academic, co-curricular and social commitments, assisted by residence dons, teachers, coaches and counselors. Living in residence offers them a safe, secure, well-supervised environment that fosters friendship, independence and confidence.

Beginning in Grade 8, students may attend our residence (boarding) program. The application process is the same for both residence and day students.  The same entrance requirements apply.

A caring home

Branksome Hall residences foster friendship, creativity, an appreciation for internationalism and academic success. Our boarding students are supervised by residence dons who are experts in young women’s educational and social needs. Together, residence students and staff create a unique experience of bonding and personal growth – a community within the caring community that is Branksome Hall.

Life in Toronto
Toronto is Canada’s largest and most multicultural community. Our residence programs take full advantage of the many opportunities offered by this city. The Toronto Advantage>>
