 Meet our Principal

At Branksome Hall, remarkable things happen every day.

We're excited about the recent opening of our award-winning Athletics and Wellness Centre. This outstanding facility will benefit the Branksome community for generations to come. Students are already reaping the rewards of its two saltwater swimming pools, yoga and dance studios, a rowing centre, a gym and a high-performance fitness centre, as well as a bright dining hall and outdoor terraces. This is the latest addition to our beautiful campus, which features a blend of heritage and state-of-the-art buildings, in the heart of Toronto. Visit our campus and you will see how we challenge and inspire girls to love learning and to shape a better world. As students try their hand at robotics, compose music, shoot their own films, explore debating, or master our rock-climbing wall, the joy of discovery is obvious on every face.

As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, we offer a strong liberal arts curriculum that stirs the imagination, develops students' critical thinking and inquiry skills, and fosters a balance between academics and other activities. We've been experts and innovators in STEM programs long before the STEM acronym became popular.

Students enjoy a wide range of athletic, artistic, co-curricular and leadership opportunities that make school life vibrant. They also develop personally as they make a difference in the lives of others through our local and international community service efforts. From Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12, all Branksome students benefit from our IB programs.

Our teachers are experts in their fields, and many have taught internationally. They are devoted to helping our students reach their full potential, as they grow from learners into leaders.

As Principal of Branksome Hall for 16 years, I have seen our girls graduate as confident, compassionate and well-rounded young women who are welcomed by stellar universities around the world, most with scholarships. With over a century of experience as an independent school for girls, Branksome is a caring community with an active alumnae network.

I invite you to explore this website and to visit us soon. You will discover the unique, welcoming spirit that is Branksome Hall.
