7:45 a.m. Spirit Week rehearsal
Attend a grade meeting to learn the dance for our lipsync. We've been practising hard to place well for Spirit Week. Go Orange!
8:30 a.m. Math class with Ms Louie
I finally understand the unit on probability. I am so glad I took the extra time to do the math clinic yesterday.
9:50 a.m. History – It’s fascinating with Mr. McVay
Mr. McVay is our teacher and he always makes history very interesting, especially when we discuss foreign issues in the day's newspaper. He’s really getting us to think about our ideas as we review for final exams.
11:15 p.m. Pool – teaching the juniors
Teach the Red Cross Swim Program to Grade 5 girls. They are always so eager to get in the water, and their front crawl is looking much better.
12:40 p.m. Chemistry
Chemistry with Ms Jajecznyk is my favourite class. We have been completing our own design lab. I've been looking at different pigments in raspberries and how acidity affects these pigments.
1:30 p.m. English
English is my weakest subject, but Ms Fabian and I have been meeting to work on my skills. It is going well, as my IB exams are just around the corner.
2:50 p.m. Going to the Fitness Centre
I have a spare, so I go to the Fitness Centre. I like to keep fit and there’s nothing better than doing a workout with Ms Frydman, who runs the Fitness Centre at Branksome.
4:00 p.m. Back in residence
My residence is Sherborne House. There are snacks, like fruit, cheese and cookies, for us to eat when we come back from school and while we are relaxing and catching up with our friends in the common room.
6:30 p.m. Dinner – time for serious planning
After dinner at residence, we had chocolate-covered strawberries for dessert. What a treat. We plan our outfits for formal...so exciting!
7:00 p.m. Studying
It’s study time in residence and it’s very quiet as we all go to our rooms to do homework. It’s time to log off of Facebook and work on my final French oral exam that is next week.
10:00 p.m. bedtime
After watching Glee, I call my mom to say goodnight. I get to bed early because I have a grade meeting tomorrow morning.
